My free ListingAlert! service will email you only what you are looking for. Let's say you're interested in four-bedroom single family homes in Belmont for $800,000 or less. First, you click on: Listing Alert! to your left, then click on San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito Counties , next, click on Detached Single Family and the "Add" arrow, your price (maximum $800,000), County/District scroll to San Mateo and click, then scroll down to 360-364 BELMONT (BEL) click on it and the "Add" arrow. Select any additional preferences, then lower down on the screen, fill in your name & email, username, password, notes or comments. You will receive emails on only the properties you're interested in. When the right home is available, it comes to you.
The incentives and help for First-time buyers (definition: those of you who have not owned a home in the United States in the last 3 years) has been extended to April 30, 2010 and enhanced. There is now a tax credit for all of you repeat buyers out there. The new rules: (1) An $8,000 Federal tax credit for First-time buyers, (2) a $6,500 tax credit for repeat buyers, and (3) a guarantee from CAR that a First-time buyer's mortgage will be paid for up to six months if he or she should lose their job. There are purchase price and income level restrictions. Call me for details.
